Working (for now anyway) in a call centre seems to leave me with frequent headaches on an almost daily basis. The combination of phones, over abundance of noises, the wasteful background conversations, the noise of people working, the poor quality of static on a high majority of calls, the ear bursting beeps of some answer machines. They all add up and often cause my head to be a throbbing mass of pain, like I'd drank too many the previous night, but with out the enjoyment of having the good times of drink. So today, looking for a cure to one of the jobs many inconveniences I decided to try paracetamol at work, hoping to dumb at least the physical pain of ... Read the complete review

Last night I had a headache and a bit of a temperature, I felt a little poorly but could not put on finger on where or why I felt ill and I just ached slightly all over. I take a cocktail of medication everyday and have several 'illnesses' so THE only painkiller I am able to take is Paracetamol. Paracetamol is an effective painkiller for most internal ailments and will also bring down a temperature fairly quickly. I think it is brilliant when I have a cold or flu just starting to rear it's head because paracetamol dulls the aches and pains just enough for me to be able to get on with my day to day business. When I was younger I swore by paracetamol to get me ... Read the complete review

Parrots eat them all Parrots eat em all Paracetomol Are the painkillers of my husbands choice I find Solpadine more effective for my headaches. I usually buy my paracetemol at Tesco’s or at the chemists at the bottom of my road in Tring. Paracetomol has been use as for many years. It is an effective painkiller and helps reduce temperature that is connected with infection. My ... Read the complete review

And keep well out of reach of children! Paracetamol is widely regarded as a 'safe' drug, and it is, having less effect on stomach problems, and being a very effective fast working painkiller, yet in the wrong hands it can all too easily kill! I though long and hard about this op, not being a fan of paracetamol through an unexpected allergy to it, so it is possible for me to write a constructive and useful op about it? not one to resist a challenge, I'll certainly have a go....... Paracetamol has been around for best part of 100 years, although it has been only been used in its present form since the 1950's. It ... Read the complete review

Unluckily for me I am in the process of having my second cold of the year. I can normally count that I will only ever get one such dose of it each year but this year unfortunately that theory didn't hold up. I'm not feeling too bad, but in the middle of my A-level exams I could do without it and as I can't really be bothered to do much it's going to cost me a couple of days revision. However, with the aid of a few pain killers I should be able to manage a few hours of work and hopefully survive my 3 hour practical exam tomorrow. To be honest I don't find there is a lot of difference between aspirin and paracetamol, but I do happen ... Read the complete review
