Parrots eat them all

Parrots eat em all Paracetomol Are the painkillers of my husbands choice I find Solpadine more effective for my headaches. I usually buy my paracetemol at Tesco’s or at the chemists at the bottom of my road in Tring.

Paracetomol has been use as for many years. It is an effective painkiller and helps reduce temperature that is connected with infection. My husband felt as if he had flu coming last night and was hot so took some paracetemol he said it would help him sleep better and hopefully he would wake this morning feeling well. (He is not awake yet)

Paracetomol is often used with other ingredients to make up other painkillers I think it is in Solpadine Also calpol.

Some people can be allergic to paracetomol so be aware of this when taking for the first time.

Take care with paracetomol taken in excess it can and does kill. When I just did a little research on the web I found a lot of sites with news articles of people dying through over dosing intentionally and unintentionally.
If excess has been taken get help immediately, once excess paracetomol has been absorbed into the blood stream very little can be done to help.
As with all drugs keep out of the reach of children.

Never exceed the recommended dose. I believe the recommended dose is no more than 8 tablets a day (24 hours) with no less than 4 hours between doses. For a child the doses are reduced. Check your packaging for recommendations before taking any Paracetomol.

If you are taking other medication be careful about taking paracetomol with it. Check to see if it is compatible.

Well after all my warnings I do think paracetomol i

s a good effective pain killer and would recommend it for use provided you are aware of the dosage and risks. Paracetomol is available in tablet form, in capsules or in soluble tablet form. They are available in packets containing up to 16 tablets. This was introduced a few years ago to try and stop the number of suicides. I believe larger packs are available at pharmacies but not at supermarkets and other outlets.

You can buy Paracetomol from pharmacies, supermarkets, corner shops and some garages. costs vary but fairly cheap tesco own cost 18p for a pkt I believe. If you read this on the other side husband still moaning and groaning .Thanks for reading must go to bed soon I am tired.

I wondered where you'd got to! I've never claimed a cheque yet so it's nice to know that yours arrived safe and sound!!

I had a friend who took too many and it destroyed her kidneys. She was waiting for a kidney transplant, but never made it. :( So be careful that you never overdo the stated dosage.

I can't take these, They make me feel ill so I use Ibuprofen. It's good to know you got your cheque, I claimed my first one last week so I'm still waiting.
