Working (for now anyway) in a call centre seems to leave me with frequent headaches on an almost daily basis. The combination of phones, over abundance of noises, the wasteful background conversations, the noise of people working, the poor quality of static on a high majority of calls, the ear bursting beeps of some answer machines. They all add ... Read the complete review

Last night I had a headache and a bit of a temperature, I felt a little poorly but could not put on finger on where or why I felt ill and I just ached slightly all over. I take a cocktail of medication everyday and have several 'illnesses' so THE only painkiller I am able to take is Paracetamol. Paracetamol is an effective painkiller ... Read the complete review

And keep well out of reach of children! Paracetamol is widely regarded as a 'safe' drug, and it is, having less effect on stomach problems, and being a very effective fast working painkiller, yet in the wrong hands it can all too easily kill! I though long and hard about this op, not being a fan of paracetamol through an ... Read the complete review

Unluckily for me I am in the process of having my second cold of the year. I can normally count that I will only ever get one such dose of it each year but this year unfortunately that theory didn't hold up. I'm not feeling too bad, but in the middle of my A-level exams I could do without it and as I can't really be bothered to do much ... Read the complete review

I don't get many headaches but sometimes after a binge on the old choc I get a migraine when I think my head is going to explode. I have found the best way of getting rid of it is a combination of one gram paracetamol, this is two tablets combined with 400 mg Ibuprofen. This should not be taken on an empty stomach though as Ibuprofen ... Read the complete review

It seems that every month now, there is a new type of medicinal product on the market. When buying medications over the counter it pays to make sure you are not paying over the odds. If you purchase by brand name you can pay pounds more than you do if you buy what is called a 'generic'. For instance, you can buy paracetamol in many different, fancy packages, but if you ask for the chemists own, you will get them much ... Read the complete review
