Disadvantages: They do not work!

At my time of life, lethargy, tiredness and just general can't be arsedness is all too common so recently when I knew I had a very busy weekend coming up, with the grandkids staying over and a 40th birthday party the next night, I knew I had to get a pick me up to cope.

Now there are plenty dodgy looking guys with hoods round my way that I am sure would have been all too keen to offer me some kind of wacked out crazy pills that you doctor has not even heard of but I prefer to stay on the right side of the law and as this situation called for more than just black coffee`s I chose to dabble with Pro-plus on the recommendation of a once friend.

Pro-plus are tiny little tablets that are supposed to increase your concentration and awareness levels slightly and help to keep you feeling more alert and awake when you are a bit tired, I say supposed to because they quite simply do not work.

I followed the easy to follow instructions to the letter so it is nothing I did wrong just simply that what they claim to do is not really true.

I took them in advance of the time I would actually need them and continued to take the recommended dose throughout the night that I felt I really needed them for, I was the designated driver so I was not consuming alcohol yet by 9 O clock (no later than usual) I was knackered and ready to go home.

I did fight my way through the 40th birthday party and did not head home till gone 12 but by the time I arrived home it was straight to bed and straight to sleep despite the body full of party pills I had been taking, I guess the next time I have a big night out I will have to visit the boys with the hoods after all!!

Summary: get your pick me up pills from the boys with the hoods!!
