Advantages: Convenient way to relieve tiredness and help you feel more awake

Disadvantages: Can make you feel a bit unwell, but should be fine as long as you stick to the recommended dose

I first tried Pro-Plus tablets as a student as I needed a bit of assistance to stay awake most of the night revising for my exams!

I still take them occasionally today - mostly if I've missed out on enough sleep but I need to be awake and alert at work. They're pretty effective at what they claim to do - namely help relieve tiredness and make you a bit more alert.

I believe they contain around as much caffeine as a strong cup of coffee, so you could just try that, but Pro-Plus can be a convenient alternative. They're quite good value too - especially if you purchase the 48 tablets pack rather than the 24 pack.

A few words of caution though: Don't take more than the recommended dose - it might seem harmless given that they're only the equivalent of some coffee, but it can leave you feeling a bit dizzy and your heart racing. Not really worth it all things considered!

Summary: Good product, but use according to the packet instructions!
