ProPlus are probably the best known caffiene tablets on the market, familiy to students, IT workers and many others who need fast effective fatigue relief.
The tablets come in a cardboard box, small enough to be easily carried. Inside the packet, the tablets themselves are in standard blister packs. The tablets are small, round and white with the words "Pro Plus" impressed into one side.
Each tablet contains 50mg of caffiene. The tablets are specifically not for children, and adults should not take more than two tablets in three hours or eight in twenty-four hours.
There are warnings to avoid taking it if you have high blood-pressure or anxiety. Because it is a high dose of caffiene it can have all the normal effects of caffiene. I've taken these when I've needed a boost due to deadlines or lack of sleep, but I find one in a day is more than sufficent. More can produce the shakes, rather like drinking too much coffee. The pills do not replace a good night's sleep, just stave off tiredness during the day.
The tablets do exactly as they are intended, producing a short term boost to energy and relieving fatigue. However, this boost is short-lived, and wears off after an hour or so. I find I get more of, and a longer-lasting, boost from coffee or cola. However, if there is no time to make one or have a proper snack, and you need to wake up quickly, ProPlus provides an easy alternative.
Summary: Simple fatigue relief when you're short on time.
