I suffer from heart burn and indigestion from time to time and usually I always swear by Gaviscon but recently I had indigestion at work and had totally run out of my usual remedy. I popped to a local shop and bought some Rennie Soft Chews which were the only indigestion tablets they had. I paid over a pound for a small tube of 8 soft chews but I have since noticed that Tesco are currently selling a pack of 3 tubes for £2.00 which is far better value. The soft chews are sold in a square packet that is mostly red in colour. The front of the pack informs the customer that they are Rennie Soft Chews which are 800mg chewable tablets and contain calcium carbonate. ... Read the complete review

Unfortunately I have suffered from Heartburn and Indigestion for quite a few years now. It is most likely that I have what is called Acid Reflux. I have noticed that I get terrible indigestion if I eat too much chocolate and too many acidy drinks or spicy foods. This is a problem for me as I love all of these things so in a way I am my own worst enemy. The first time I got Heartburn I actually thought I was having a heart attack or something. The pain was excruciating. After speaking to a few relatives who suffer with the same sort of thing (even worse than me); I realised that it was very bad indigestion. At that time and now also I started to use Gaviscon. ... Read the complete review

I find that (unfortunately!) I seem to have been dieting on and off for a few years now, well since I was 18 or so, so probably more than just a few years! After really actively trying to lose weight in my late teens, and living almost entirely on salad and fruit I found the weight did fall off, though in the process causing damage to my stomach, which to this day still gives me plenty of problems, acid indigestion being one of the milder symptoms! This being the case I always have to have a packet or two of indigestion tablets/chews to hand, although I can (thankfully!) go a few weeks without suffering from any pain now, in the start I had the ... When I was pregnant I had the worst heartburn ever. It was so uncomfortable and would pretty much come on every time I ate or every time I tried to go to bed. I had that horrible burning feeling that often resulted in me having to sit up most of the night to stop it rising up my chest. Thankfully now I have had my baby the heartburn has completely gone away but I have no idea how people deal with this every day. According to an article I read, Heartburn is common during pregnancy, affecting 22% of women in the first trimester, 39% in the second and 72% in the third. This is because during pregnancy your body produces the hormone, progesterone, which slows ... Read the complete review

I often suffer with heartburn depending on what I eat as I do love to drink lemonade and this can give me heartburn and so does curry if it's very spicey, heartburn is a feeling that your on fire from inside has to be got rid of as quick as possible as it's a horrible feeling and when I get it I reach for the Rennie Indigestion Soft Chews as I don't like the tablets which seem to taste a little chalky after the mint flavouring has gone, especially if you chew them to try and get rid of the heartburn quickly. I bought a pack of 3 from Asda as I use them frequently depending on what I eat or drink, I like the soft chewy light green rennie chews as they work ... Read the complete review
