Advantages: Easy to suck or chew, well packaged, great price, work well.

Disadvantages: None

Rennie Peppermint Tablets come packaged in a cardboard box and within the box is silver strips which have press out windows for you to remove the desired quantity of tablets and keep the rest sealed & fresh in your handbag, medicine box or wherever else you may need to store them but be advised that these should be stored below 25 degrees.

I suffer from IBS and I frequently find that I suffer with some kind of stomach related problem and indigestion can happen to me from time to time. When I get indigestion or heartburn I simply suck two Rennie tablets when required, but never more than 16 tablets in 24 hours. Also, if you want them to work a little faster or make the taste be over with then you can just chew them to break them up quicker but I personally suck them as it makes them less chalky.

The peppermint flavour of the tablets is not too bad at all but by the time I've got almost through the second one I usually find it gets too much for me and I need a bit of a break so usually have 1 1/2 - 2 depending on my mood and how bad it feels. If you have the start of it then perhaps try just one tablet and see if this helps cure the problem.

The tablets are very effective and it's not unusual to feel results within just a few minutes and this then allows me to carry on with the rest of the day or enjoy my dinner in peace and without the ill effects of heartburn or indigestion.

These can also be used for upset stomachs in general but I try to avoid using these too much just because I worry about any adverse affects.

These tablets cannot be given to children under 6 and children between 6 & 12 can have 1 tablet as required up to a maximum of 8 in 24 hours.

I would definitely recommend these and find that they always do the job for me. I purchased mine in a box of 72 for just £3.03 from Tesco on special offer although the usual price is £4.05 so I would advise keeping your eyes peeled and stocking when on offer as they nearly always come in handy for a member of the family when we're out for a meal.

Summary: A fantastic peppermint tablet dealing with my stomach problems.

I use the Boots own brand fruit ones- just as good and half the price! Nice review.

i agree, they work a treat, especially for a hangover, but I find I nedd to chew them then take a drink of water as I don't particularly like the taste.
