Advantages: Calms your stomach down !

Disadvantages: Can cause slight headaches if you take too many !

Introduction

I have been using Rennie Peppermint Tablets for about four years now. I don't take Rennie Peppermint Tablets on a regular basis. I only take Rennie Peppermint Tablets when I am suffering from heart burn or indigestion. I always keep a strip of tablets in my hand bag , just in case I eat something that doesn't get on well with my digestive system (stomach!)!

Effectiveness and Side Effects

I usually take a Rennie Peppermint Tablet after I have eaten a meal. The tablets leaves a chalky feeling in your mouth but its not all that bad. Infact , its similar to a normal peppermint sweet just with a chalky feeling! I have experienced no major side effects. However, I have noticed that if I take more than four in one day, I start to get a slight headache but then again I am not sure if that is due to dehydration as I don't like to drink water! The Rennie Peppermint tablets always seems to solve any digestive problems that I have straight away! It contains calcium carbonate which is the magic ingredient which sorts out your stomach. The fruit flavour is also very nice if you get bored of the peppermint taste!

Value for Money

A pack of 24 Rennie tablets cost £2 at Tesco and £2 at Sainsburys. They are also available in packs of 36, 42 and 72! I prefer to buy the smaller packs of 24 as I don't use them that often! However, the packs of 24 are harder to get hold of as I have noticed that not all supermarkets stock them and they tend to stock more of the 42 and 72 packs!
