As I'm sat here now I've been hit by another bout of heart burn, the most annoyingly painful condition I've ever had. My chest feels like someone's shoved a Molotov cocktail down my throat, and now it wants to burn it's way out of me through my lungs and ribs. The feeling of wanting to cut your own chest open to put a fire extinguisher to it isn't even as extreme as I've felt in the past whilst suffering this almost debilitating problem. Those who have never suffered don't know what it's like to feel as though you're throat as gone from being a dormant to being an active volcano with out and previous warning. Trying to sleep or work like this is almost impossible, in ... Read the complete review

Rennie Spearmint Tablets It hurts. It really, really hurts. And no, I’m not talking about the impending birth of my first child, though I have no doubts exactly how much agony I’ll be in over that. Nope, I’m talking about heartburn. That acid heat that bores a hole of pain right through your insides and makes you want to eat ice pops and ice cubes all day long to keep it cool! One of the joys (and yes, that was me being sarcastic!) of pregnancy is the continual burning heat of heartburn. Whether I eat, drink or abstain, whether I consume healthy, fat free food stuffs or indulge in a mini sausage roll for Greggs (mmmm, it was worth it!!!), it’s a pretty ... Read the complete review

I tend to suffer from indigestion quite a lot. I would put this down, in some respects. to eating while I am working, and the fact that I am sat at a computer for a large part of the day doesn't help. Essentially these are a medicine, but the beauty of them is that they don't taste too much like a medicine. I racked my brains for ages trying to remember the exact thing that these reminded me of and came to the conclusion that it was a sweetie of times gone past. Anyone remember Pacers, those lovely chewy sweets? These Rennies taste just like those. You will though from time to time get a really bitter aftertaste. I don't know why, this only seems to happen ... Read the complete review

I must admit being pregnat you suffer from alot of different nasty symptoms and it is not always easy to find things that work. I should know I am on my 3rd pregancy 2nd in the past 2 years. I have used gaviston in the past which leaves a chalky taste in your mouth and throght. There tablets are great you will only need one when you are suffering the effects of heart burn just pop one on your tongue and suck i usually chew the last little bit the burning sensation dissapears in your chest and you can go back to what ever it was you were doing (sleeping in my case). The fact that they come in a spearmint flavour is good because it gives you a bit ... Read the complete review
