Advantages: Quick acting.

Disadvantages: You might get a bitter aftertaste

I tend to suffer from indigestion quite a lot. I would put this down, in some respects. to eating while I am working, and the fact that I am sat at a computer for a large part of the day doesn't help.

Essentially these are a medicine, but the beauty of them is that they don't taste too much like a medicine. I racked my brains for ages trying to remember the exact thing that these reminded me of and came to the conclusion that it was a sweetie of times gone past. Anyone remember Pacers, those lovely chewy sweets? These Rennies taste just like those. You will though from time to time get a really bitter aftertaste. I don't know why, this only seems to happen ocassionally.

Now whatever name you call this sort of pain - indigestion, hearburn, dyspepsia or whatever, the box claims it will relive these.

I don't know why Rennies work or how they work, but they work. You may suck or chew them. It shouldn't make any difference, but I feel that if you suck them they will act a little like a 'slow release' medicine. Otheres might think that if you chew and swallow these more or less immediately, they will get to the heart of the problem straight away.

I usually take two at a time, though is your pain is mild, you might get away with just the one.

They come in a pack of twenty four. When I get indigestion, I generally find I need to take a couple or three doses, of two tablets in a day.

What you do need to remember is that these are not a cure for anything, but a relief.

Summary: Overall quick acting relief

These are pretty good - but I find that Remegel work better and quicker.
