Advantages: High quality, refreshing

I'm a big fan of Ricola's products in general, and whenever I spy a new flavour, I make sure to try it out.

The Lemon Mint variety is my least favourite of the ones I have tried, though. Perhaps it is because they are less interesting than others; perhaps it is because they have that not-entirely-pleasant 'sugar-free' taste to them. In general, I find that Ricola lozenges have eliminated this problem.

They do taste fresh and lemony. I have a feeling that they would be nicer without the mint element, as both flavours are very strong. It would have worked better maybe with one flavour taking the helm and the other in the background as a compliment.

The familiar Ricola herb mixture flavour is hard to detect in these too, although it is there if you look for it. These are high quality sweets for sure, but personally I won't be buying them again; not as long as the elderflower and cranberry versions exist anyway!

It's probably also worth noting that Ricola lozenges are rather a premium product; they are fairly hard to find and don't seem to be imported in large amounts yet. Thus, they are fairly expensive. On that grounds, I'd encourage you to try a different flavour first.

Summary: worth a try if you're a Ricola fan or love lemony lozenges!
