Advantages: give you a Buzz

Disadvantages: might keep you awake if used late at night

Buzz Gum is available in healthfood shops. It gives you all the benefits of Rio Amazon Guarana in a pleasant tasting gum.

You get 12 pieces of the green gum (coloured with chlorophyl for 95p. You simply chew a couple of pieces.

Guarana is known as the 'life force of the Amazon'. The guarana plant, is woody and grows in the Amazon basin. The plant has yellow flowers that turn into fruits, each bearing three brown seeds. Indian tribes have been using these seeds for many centuries. The Quarami, for example, used it to combat bowel complaints. The Maues still use it for many different ailments, and to maintain general well-being.

Guarana seeds contain about 3 times as much caffeine as coffee beans. Guarana beans are much less acidic than coffee beans even though they contain so much more caffeine, so there shouldn't be a problem with stomach acid.

It is a source of high energy, increases alertness, fights fatigue, can be used to control appetite, ease muscle cramp, and even calm nervous tension.

I used it to increase energy and make myself feel wide awake and alert. It did seem to work but I'm not certain yet whether it was the Buzz Gum that made me feel good, or the expectation that it would. I need to try this product for a few more days before I can be sure of this. Certainly worth a try at such a low price.

Buzz Gum is manufactured in USA and imported into Britain by the Rio Trading Company. It has been in use for many years in USA. As far as I can discover, there are no known side effects.
