Savlon is a household staple product. It almost feels a bit silly writing a review about it as I'm sure everyone should just know the benefits of using it! Savlon has been around and been used for longer than I have been around. The formula has not changed, although different off shoot products have been created and used and loved by many.

I mainly use two varieties of Savlon, the antiseptic variety and the normal healing cream. This review is about the healing cream. It comes in many sizes, but most people have a tube, about 35g worth. The packaging has been the same for ages and most people are aware that the bright blue tube with the white writing on is the Savlon! It is sold in carboard boxes which are recyclable.

Savlon is a creamy white paste which has an almost odour free scent to it, and what you can smell is unobtrusive. It is spread easily onto affected areas and you can either ub it completely in or leave a thin layer over the skin for protection.

Savlon is useful for all sorts of harm or skin damage, try tattoos, eczema, spots etc. The uses are endless (although Im not a doctor so please read the instructions for yourself). Savlon works wonders at healing. I would recommend it as a staple for everyones first aid box!
