I have used Savlon Antiseptic Cream for as long as i can remember and its the one thing that i always have in my medicine cabinet. I was in Poundland a few days ago and noticed that they were selling tubes of Savlon 40 grams for only a pound.

I thought this was a good offer and bought it as you never know when it might come in handy. At this price, you can afford to buy several and leave one in your desk in your work, one in the house and one in the car glovebox. Then youll always be prepared if you happen to need it.

Savlon claims it soothes the skin and helps prevent infection aiding the natural healing of minor skin infections. Everyone i know who gets a Tattoo swears by using Savlon to help it heal quickly and keep their skin free from germs.

Its used also for bites, stings, cuts, grazes and minor burn and scalds. I have also used it for spots and it works really well on clearing them up in a few days.

Savlon Antiseptic cream is white in colour and has a thick consistency that absorbs well into the skin after rubbing it in. The packaging is a little boring, its just a long blue tube with a screw off white lid.

If you are on holiday and have no suncream with you, you can also use Savlon to soothe the pain of your sunburn and its also great for chapped skin. I got an insect bite on my arm a while ago while i was sitting out in the garden.

It was so itchy i couldnt stop scratching it and was making my arm really red and sore. I put Savlon on the bite and the itchy feeling disappeared instantly and the bite had gone within a few days.

This product is a lifesaver to me and i will continue to use it for years to come.

Its especially good if you have children and they are always running about getting cuts and grazes. You can apply Savlon without worrying that their skin will get infected and it gives you great piece of mind.

I think that everybody should have a tube of this in their medicine cabinet or first aid kit as it is brilliant.
