I always make sure that we have a tube of this in the house.

Savlon cream is an antiseptic cream suitable for minor cuts and grazes. It can also be used on spots and pimples. It's cheap too.

I use this on cuts and grazes. The cream is white in colour and it has a thick creamy consistency. You simply apply a little cream onto the affected area and rub it in until it's been absorbed into the skin. It doesn't take the cream long at all to fully absorb and it doesn't leave your skin feeling tacky afterwards. The cream numbs the pain and the antiseptic ingredients help to prevent infection. You can also use Savlon under a plaster. I often cut myself whilst shaving. I simply apply a dab of this and stick a plaster over the top. Within hours my wound has started to heal and it's a much faster healing process having used Savlon. I would recommend this cream. Plus a little goes a long way so it is good value too.

You can also use it on spots that have burst. I use it for this reason, usually before I go to bed. The cream soothes the area and it takes away that throbbing feeling that you usually associate with pain. Savlon can be used pretty much anywhere on the body as long as you don't use it internally.

You can also use it as a hand cream for when your hands are feeling a little sore and/ or chapped.

Overall this is a fantastic cream for troubled skin. Recommended!
