Savlon Antiseptic Cream has been a permanent resident in our household for as long as I can remember. It doesn't get used much now that there are no kids around getting into mischief and acquiring cuts and scrapes, but it is still brought out on occasion and it's reassuring to know it's there. Savlon comes in a blue, squeezy tube with a ... Read the complete review

Savlon is an absolute must for the medicine cabinet - a brilliant cream with a host of uses that is an antiseptic, has a particularly soothing moisturing affect and also has an odour that won't have friends and family running for the hills. It comes in a range of sizes and I always opt for the 60g version (the second largest to the best ... Read the complete review

Blue tube, white writing simple to identify this is a product with a place in every first aid kit however small or basic. Actually I never bothered with anything like this until I got my tattoo, then they recommend that you use a skin healing cream with antiseptic properties on it until it heals, so Savlon it was. When I was a kid if you fell over and skinned your knee you knew that was only the beginning of your torture! The wound was washed with neat dettol and then germolene ointment would be applied. That was the standard treatment, whether you were at home or at school and the dettol stung like crazy then the thick germolene hurt to be applied. ... Read the complete review

I've always got a tube of Savlon in my cupboard because it's good to be prepared for any little accidents or skin problems. The brand itself is very popular and probably the one that springs to mind when you say 'antiseptic cream'. Savlon is readily available at most pharmacies and supermarkets and can be bought in 4 different sizes: ... Read the complete review

Savlon is something I can not live without. it has helped me over the years and I just have to buy it , half a dozen at a time, it is excellent. It heals all skin irritations and especially sunburn and insect bites. Please tell me where can I buy it in Germany or which company could send it to me in the post??? I would be grateful and appreciate it very much if somebody would advise me so that I can purchase it and store it in my medicine cabinet. As I always have to go to London to buy it. Thanks!

I was completely horrified when I saw my best friend's python tattoo. I have nothing against people who have tattoos, but this one, was large, ugly, and unfeminine. Yet I smiled and said, wow that's lovely". I couldn't help notice it was red and inflamed. I didn't want to mention the fact it was, in case she got scared. It looked awful sore.. ... SAVLON SKIN HEALING CREAM From when I was just a little boy, one of my most vivid memories is that of Mum’s “magic cream”. Being only four or five years old I didn’t know any better, indeed I even believed that it was magic. If I ever cut myself, developed a rash or had a sore bottom, Mum would bring out the “magic cream” and very soon ... Read the complete review

♥ Why antiseptic cream? ♥ You know the saying about busses, about how none come for ages, and then half a dozen at once. This doesn’t apply to German busses. They run on time. To the minute in fact. German trains, however, are a different matter. They just don’t turn up. Full stop. But hey, this op’s not ... Read the complete review

I use Savlon for when I get bitten by mosquitos. I find if I put it on as soon as I notice the bite without itching it then it goes away with no hassle. When I got bitten when I was younger I used to use calamine lotion but I ran out so started using Savlon. I then noticed it was a lot easier to use and has the same effect and have used ...
