I am just getting over a very bad tonsilitis infection , I have been really ill for over a week now , my GP put me on penicillin and then on anti-biotics, none of which have helped at all.

I went to the chemist and bought some Ibuprofen and some effervesant co-codamols, what a godsend, they have helped keep my sanity.

I gargled with the co-codamols as you dissolve them in water first, getting them right to the pain , they seem to work almost straight away, the Ibuprofen take away the swelling.

So if you ever suffer with a really sore throat of worse still a bad throat infection buy effervesant co-codamols gargle with them first and then of course swallow it.
