Spruce essential oil is distilled from the needles and twigs of the Canadian Spruce tree. This evergreen tree gives a resinous, campor-smelling oil which is a must for everyone's medicine cabinet. For asthma and bronchitis use in a warm bath. Colds and 'flu' symptoms can be eased by adding 5 drops of oil to a bowl of boiling water, placing a towel over the head and inhaling the vapour.
