*****Introduction*****

I have been suffering with cold and flu like symptoms for weeks now, but I can't seem to shake it off and i have been suffering with a very dry but itchy throat, that is now stopping me eating as it hurts every time I swollow.

Today it became unbearable so i headed to Asda to try and find something to ease it off a bit, after browsing the medicine counter I opted for these Strepsils extra.

*****The Strepsils*****

Strepsils have been around for many years, but this is the first time I have seen these strepsils extra throat sweets.

These come in a box of twenty four throat sweets, they are designed so you can suck on them to get instant pain relief and I must say these really do work.

Each sweet contains antiseptic and therefore soothes the soreness instantly, as well as fighting off any infections that may have caused your sore throat in the first place.

These can be usedby all adults and any children over six years old, it is recommended that you have a sweet every three hours if needed but you should never exceed the recommended daily allowance.

*****My Views*****

These sweets have saved my sanity today, so i would recommend them to anyone who is suffering from a sore throat or infection as they provide instant relief.

As for them being an extra version, I cant say this made any noticeable difference from the original ones,but i won't complain as they have helped.

I bought the blackcurrent flavour which have gone down really well, if i didn't know any better i would have said i was eating a boiled sweet, well at least until my throat went numb.

If any one is suffering from post Christmas colds then these are must in any medicine box.

Summary: Recommeneded for anyone who is currently suffing from a bad throat.
