Strepsils Lozenges

Strepsils Honey and Lemon I have to tell you that it's a very long time since I had a proper cold. "Ahhhh!" Come on, you can do better than that. I've got a very sore throat and a croaky voice and yes, I do know it's summer. So a little more sympathy please. I'm basing my review on the Strepsils extra blackcurrent flavour as they are the ones I have been using over the past week. Last Tuesday I experienced the dreaded bug that seems to be going around where I live at the moment, sore throat, head aches and feeling rubbish. As a seasonal suffererof tonsillitus I know exactly what to do with a sore throat and this includes stocking up on 'sucky sweets'. I dont know whether it is the terrible weather, on the onset of autumn but right now im finding myself with a sore throat and feeling pretty miserable. I raided the medicine cabinet and found myself with two choices, some honey and lemon strepsils and some fishermans friends. I decided to give the strepsils a go as they contain two antiseptic ingredients :- 2,4-Dichlorobenzylalcohol and Amylmetacresol. Never heard of either of those but I decided to give them a chance.
