I've been using Sudafed for so many years now that I'm surprised I've never written a review on it before. Sudafed is an over-the-counter medication, for relief of nasal and sinus congestion caused by allergies, hay fever or colds. There are many types of Sudafed available on the market today, but the one I've use the most are the classic little red round pills. More recently, I've bought their 12 hour tablets but these are the ones I prefer to use. The active ingredient in these is Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (although in some countries there are restrictions on this drug and you can only buy a version of with Phenylephrine Hydrochloride over the counter freely). ... I'm sure everyone has at one time or another suffered from a really bad cold and had really bad nasal congestion. It's thoroughly unpleasant and worst of all it feels like there is nothing you can do to help it because blowing your nose doesn't seem to help. At times like these a good decongestant is required. Step up Sudafed. In my experience it is a very effective treatment which will have you breathing quite clearly again in good time. And for many people it really is a god send when they have a cold. However my experiences with it, while finding it effective, are not particularly pleasant. I'm not sure exactly why or what causes it, maybe an allergic ... Read the complete review

Im sat here, clutching a box of Sudafed, because Ive been given a horrid cold by my ever thoughful boyfriend, who didnt want to deprive me of the joys of accompanying him in his current chest coughed misery. As if it isnt enough that Im allergic to his cats and am currently in the middle of the worlds worst pollen allergy, trying to resist the temptation of scratching my itchy, eczema suffering skin and puffing on my inhaler to relieve my asthma (what does he see in me again?) So, heres the symptoms, nasal congestion, due to a number of factors - a cold, allergies, hayfever. A sore throat caused by the cold and the constant thirst brought on my my inhaler. ... One of the most irritating and unpleasant aspects arising from a common cold, sinus and hayfever is nasal congestion. I would not like to go into much detail about the obvious substances that block the nasal passages as it would probably put you all off. On the many occasions that I suffered from a cold I was taking alternative medications that helped in allieviating the cold symptoms by making them somewhat tolerable. But none of these medications could totally erase the nasal congestion that is associated with a cold. Even though the running is curtailed you can just feel it all clogged up and ready to escape as soon as the effects of the medication ... Read the complete review

by jessyclown on 01.02.2002 at 22:57 I see you are new to dooyoo. I hope you enjoy reading and writing opinions. If have a good look at some of the better opinions you will see what people give good ratings for. If you read and rate other people's opinions they may read and rate yours thats what it is all about! by Gwenick on 01.02.2002 at 23:01 Here's a tip. Spend more time on each opinion. Only post one a day (at most) and read and rate other people opinions. You'll get more read (and therefore more money) that way. As it is you are doing what is known as 'churning' - and people won't read you at ... Read the complete review
