Over the past 2 or 3 weeks I have been suffering My sinus?s have hurt not all the time but just every 2 or 3 days I get this pain .I have been suffering with a bit of nasal congestion So I tried Sudafed to see if that would help.

And yes it did relieve the pain I felt for a couple of hours I have then taken a new tablet 4or5 hours later as directed by the pkt and usually by the time the effects of that have worn out my sinus pain has been better, however the symptoms seem to return every 2 or 3 days. I think it is because I work with lots of kids who have colds and bugs and the closeness I work with them means that there is this germ forever in the air that I breathe.

Anyway I am not that ill just uncomfortable its hard to take a day of work as I know the extra stress it causes when the department is short staffed I took a couple of days of when it was really bad but unless I am really ill I do not take time off..

Sudafed do not make you feel drowsy. Helped clear congestion and that stuffed up feeling you get in a cold .

Anyway Sudafed is fairly good available over the counter in chemists. Available in pkts of 12 or 24 small brown tablets easy to swallow. Cost about £3 39 for 24 tablets.

1 tablet to be taken every 4-6 hours. Sudafed is not suitable for children under 12.
Be careful taking them if you are diabetic or have glaucoma, heart disease or high blood pressure read the packet in fact always read the packet of medicines to see if there are any contradictions.
Some people do have an reaction to them talking to a friend at work she said she can?t take them they make her feel sick
