A great and vital product that everyone should have.

An essential part of any home, Sudocrem is a vital little pot of skin healing cream. A key bit of kit for Mums no doubt, but I know how useful it is personally, I had a (not deep) burn on my face after an accident and Sudocrem was recommended as the best healer by a nurse I know. It covered the burn and really soothed it to the extent that I could nearly forget about it. The skin was healed in a few days and I was so pleased to have found this.

It has a thick, slick, creamy texture. Oily and slightly tacky with a distinctive and not that pleasant smell. It sounds awful but it works like a dream. Apply gently and the white colour should fade so it's not noticable. Can be used for nappy rash, sunburn and minor cuts and grazes.

Available in 400g, 250g, 125g and 60g tubs. It is also available in a 30g tube which is handy. It can be found in chemists and supermarkets. The larger tub retails at around a hefty £6.25, the 125g at under £2 but it is worth having a tub in case of an emergency.

Summary: Essential household item
