Advantages: heals small wounds, burns quickly
Disadvantages: greasy, difficult to clean your hands
I used Sudocrem for my sons as a nappy cream, but only when they had some problem. Now I use it on a daily basis.
Advantages
It is a very good healing cream that really works. I use it when I cut my finger, when we have any kind of minor burns or sunburn, other wounds. It is perfect as a nappy cream too. I used it effectively when my younger son's skin became very very dry from Johnson's baby top to toe wash. It healed in 2 weeks, but I used it 3 times a day.
Disadvantages
Actually I have only one problem with it, it is difficult to wash it from your hands. It's water resistant, so I need double amount of soap for cleaning my hands.
Price
I bought one just a few hours ago. I paid 2.59 pounds for 125g. It is worth buying a larger one if you use regularly, but it was the only one size in Sainsbury's. In Tesco I have seen smaller and larger ones as well.
Smell and texture
It has a smell like a medicament, but it doesn't disturb me. It is a very greasy cream, water resistant as I have mentioned before.
Summary
I think it is a MUST HAVE product where there are children. It is so practical and a very effective healing cream. I recommend it to everyone.
Summary: I recomend it to everyone, especially for children

- 15/08/09 I haven't used nor Savlon, nor Germolene, so I cannot compare to them. |
