Advantages: Cheaper than a lot of skin care products, had reduced redness on my face
Disadvantages: Hasn't completely helped my problem
I am a 17 year old girl that has always struggled with having red/blotchy skin. I don't get spots as such, more just red patches. I had trouble with raised veins too when I was younger, which laser treatment couldn't cure. A few of my friends suggested using sudocrem as it can help nappy rash and eczema, symptoms of which are redness. I was a bit skeptical, as were my parents, as it is thought of more as a barrier cream. However, it has really worked! Some skin care products are over £10.00 and have never worked for me, but this has. After about two weeks of putting it on my face every day, I noticed that the red patches on my faces had faded down to a pinky sort of colour, now they are very light pink. The problem is still there, but I would recommend sudocrem to anyone with a similar problem. The cream is a lot thicker than normal creams so it does need to be rubbed in thoroughly. I usually put it on in the evening and have had a few instances where I've put too much on and it's got tangled in my hair and had to be wiped off, so don't do that, a little works fine! The cream has reduced the redness enough that I can cover it with foundation quite easily, so yes, a good product.
Summary: Used unconventionally on the face, it works well
