Advantages: Cheap, effective in a number of different circumstances
Disadvantages: None really
I love Sudocreme, it's as simple as that. It can be used in about a million situations, and now it's available in tube form rather than those lovely little grey pots which remind me of my childhood, it's even better as it's easy to transport.
Where do I begin...!
Use number 1:
Spots. It dries them out, and they heal a lot faster. Wack a massive blob of it on a spot overnight, and it's bound to be less disastrous come the morning.
Use number 2:
Cold sores. Again, it dries them out, and they heal a lot faster! As the creme's white, you need to be careful that it doesn't make the scab look a bit white and manky though. Best to use overnight I'd say.
Use number 3:
Burns and scalds. Wack it on, and it'll cool the area, again reducing the extent of the damage.
Use number 4:
Insect bites. Yes, you've guessed it. It'll reduce swelling and pain!
Ahhh, and for sunburn, it's fantastic.
Thus, Sudocreme seems to have a common use! It cools and soothes irritated skin, be it a cold sore or a burn. The area will be less sore and far less disastrous if you use Sudocreme.
Basically, Sudocreme is sent from above because not only does it heal a vast range of ailments, but it also feels great on the skin as it's cooling. Secondly, it reminds me of my childhood. This may be a placebo effect, but it helps if you're feeling blue.
Don't leave home without it!
