Advantages: Can be used for most skin complaints

Disadvantages: Always leaves a residue for days.

Sudocrem is one of those products that travels through the ages. Parents all over the owrld sing its praises on healing nappy rash and other skin problems like eczema, bed sores, minor burns, sunburn, acne and chilblains.

The cream comes in a variety of different size tubs ranging from 125g to absolutley huge. As the enzymes in wee and poo can actually eat away at your baby's bot I found that applying a layer of sudocrem at every nappy change reduced the liklihood of Kay getting nappy rash. Even if she did get a rash then an extra covering of sudocrem would soon sort it out.

I also use a tiny amount on her arms and legs if she ever has any dry skin and she seems to enjoy the massage as well.

As every new parent knows, it is often difficult to know whether the lotions and potions we put on our childrens delicate skin actually does more harm than good. With sudocrem I have never had that worry. I am confident that sudocrem will be gentle with Kays skin and will probably always have a tub lurking in my medicine cupboard.
