Advantages: Soothes, cools sunburn down
Disadvantages: expensive
My sisters little boy has just gone three and now my older brohter is about to be a dad for the first time, as a present for the babies my mum has made up a box with all the baby things a new mum will need. Nappies, baby shampoo, baby bath, talc, ect and of course Sudocream. This cream is a soothing antiseptic cream which is great for nappy rash. It's also not just for babies as I have sensative skin and if I use the wrong skin products will come out in a rash. Sudocream is great for those occasions. It helps with sunburn, spots, scalds and eczema too. I always have a pot handy just incase the odd spot comes out (usually on the end of your nose when your just about to go on that important date). This cream is white and thick, it comes in gray 125g tubs for £2.25 at the bodycare shop, other places are dearer and you can also buy it in 500g or little tubs too. If your pregnant you will probably get a little tub free with your bounty pack, which you get by taking the coupon from your midwife to Boots. When you open the tub there is a nice scent, it reminds me of babies. Put a thin layer of the cream onto the area that needs it, make sure you don't get it in your eyes and keep it out of reach of children. I have seen this cream work on my nephews nappy rash within a few days it has cleared it up, my mum said she used to use it on me and it is a very popular cream for new mothers. My new expected neice or nephew is also going to have it used on them, so theres a tub packed away waiting in the baby box of my mothers. It's made by Forest Tosara Ltd and even though it keeps for a long while there is a use by date on the tub as a reminder when it's not to be used, so if anyone gives you a pot remember to check the use by date or it could irritant your babies skin. I like this cream as it's well known and works great you can feel it take the heat out of sunburn as soon as you apply it. I
t's tried and tested over generations of children and I think its one of those products that will always be around.
