Tangerines are orange and sometimes round however, today i saw one which was almost a flat sphere. also, i have seen some varieties which contain green. I do not know what this denotes other than the presence of 1)mould or 2) lack of ripeness. Either way - the tangerine in question is not at it's OPTIMUM FRESHNESS so beware of this immature/overmature version of a favorite fruit of the British people and those of most of the developed world.
