Advantages: works on practically everything

My first experience of TCP was falling in the school playground and the fear I felt when I saw the teacher pull out a bottle to clean the wound with, the pain was just as excruitiating as pulling the plaster off in the bath the same night (whoever said it hurts less to pull it off in one go was a liar - you heard me Dad you lied ;-P )

Since then i have used it for a variety of different ailments, such as gargling it diluted for mouth ulcers, dabbing on spots to dry them up, dousing cuts, insect bites and grazes to help infection and healing.... the list could go on and on.

My main use for TCP has to be spots, as a hormonal girl I get a monthly outbreak, having tried and tested all the expensive cream, lotions and potions iv decided back to basics is the best!!!

Dependent on where you buy it, the price can range from less than a pound to £3/£4ish, but for how long the bottle with stay in your bathroom cuboard and be an invaluable aid in times of need even the higest end price would be worth it.

TCP has now gone all modern on us and introduced a spray plaster product to go alongside the traditional liquid, however I think stick to the well known, cheap and cheerful!!!

Summary: you got a cut......TCP does the job
