TCP is an incredibly versatile liquid antiseptic that can be applied to myriad external scrapes, cuts, sores or infections, keeping the area clean and fighting infection and helping to speed up the healing process, and can also be gargled in heavily diluted form to helt combat sore throats. It still needs diluting for normal external use in any ... Read the complete review

This stuff stinks and stings! That's what my nan used to say. She also said if it does neither then it's only as good as water, and it's true. This stuff can be used to treat all manner of things from grazed knees, spots, bites and stings. Usually a quick dab on the skin a couple of times a day will do the trick but be careful, don't ... TCP Liquid Antiseptic is something that I believe should be a staple item in all medicine boxes around the world. TCP comes provided in a glass bottle with a screw lid and it's a brown glass colour with a blue & green label which I find to be instantly recognisable. The bottle automatically reminds me of elderly relatives and trips ... Read the complete review

I guess most households have a bottle of antiseptic tucked away in a cupboard, it was an even present in my family home when I was growing up (not in a good way as it normally made an apperance when I had cut my knee open or had some other injury from falling off my bike!) but you can't be without something like that with youngsters around I ... TCP smells. It smells VERY VERY stongly of antispetic and the smell will not go away after you use it! So be warned. You may actually like the smell (this is likely if you have NOT been forced to gargle with it as a child with a sore throat- that sort of experience will alter you!). I have grown up around TCP - there was always a ... Read the complete review

My first experience of TCP was falling in the school playground and the fear I felt when I saw the teacher pull out a bottle to clean the wound with, the pain was just as excruitiating as pulling the plaster off in the bath the same night (whoever said it hurts less to pull it off in one go was a liar - you heard me Dad you lied ;-P ...
