About 3 months ago my little boy caught a nasty diarrhoea and sickness bug which resulted in both my husband and myself getting it too, apart from Diarolyte there was nothing we could really do except wait for it to pass. While the sickness part of the bug went away after 24 hours the diarrhoea didn't. When Jayden had this we had to take him to hospital one night and the doctor there warned us that even after the sickness part of the bug is over the diarrhoea can carry on for up to 10 days! He also advised that if me or Mark caught it to take Imodium until it passed which is what I did until I discovered Tesco do a version of their own at a fraction of the ... Read the complete review

I always like to ensure that my medicine cabinet is fully stocked for every eventuality and a product that I have been buying for a number of years is Tesco Diarrhoea Relief Capsules. There are six capsules contained within a small blue, green and white box measuring 8 cm x 6 cm and located in the upper left hand side is the familiar Tesco logo in grey lettering. However, I always find the product extremely hard to locate on the supermarket shelf, as its' appearance isn't particularly eye-catching and it seems to blend in amongst all of the other pills, tubes and bottles. We are advised that the capsules contain loperamide hydrochloride and can ... Read the complete review

Tesco Diarrhoea relief Capsules When out buying for our recent holiday to Egypt, one of the things on my ever expanding list was diarrhoea tablets. I usually buy specifically branded tablets but since I was already in Tesco, I decided to try these (or hopefully not have to). WHAT ARE THEY? The capsules are available without prescription and are for the relief of sudden and hopefully very short lived attacks of diarrhoea. They contain Loperamide so anyone who knows they are allergic to this ingredient should try something else. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING The capsules are apparently available in packs of 2, 4 and 6. Mine ... Read the complete review

This is something that I like to make sure I have in my bathroom cabinet and also take with me abroad incase something doesn't agree with me. My partner also often needs these as well as the regular dosage of Gaviscon as she has had her gallbladder removed and this regularly disagree with her and cause plenty of discomfort. As I do my weekly shop in Tesco I stock up on any required medicines during this time and these capsules come in packs of 6 for 99p which seems a fairly reasonable price to pay with Imodium often being at least twice the price. The tablets are housed in a box which is small enough for a handbag or any bathroom cabinet. The box is ... Read the complete review

I recently went to Barbados and being my first long haul holiday in a while with my daughter I wanted to make sure I was fully equipped for any circumstance - insect repellent wipes, paracetamol and of course medication in case of diarrhoea. I initially set out to buy Imodium as a leading brand but being strapped for cash and spotting these capsules in Tesco for only £1.20 it was a no brainer to buy them! *** About the Product *** They come in a small cardboard box, white with blue design and inside the box are 6 capsules. Each capsule contains 2mg of Loperamide Hydrochloride and the box recommends it can stop diarrhoea with one dose. Inside the ... Read the complete review
