I would, however, say that if you are suffering yourself from long term symptoms that you should seek medical advice, as I did, just to be on the safe side. These are very good value for money and they work within as little time as ten minutes after chewing two of them in my mouth. I highly recommend them....more

I often suffer from indigestion or heartburn which, as any other sufferers knows, is very unpleasant and can make you feel miserable. I always keep indigestion tablets in my handbag and I always used to use Gavisgon but have recently been trying others that are a bit cheaper. The ones I am currently using are Tesco Fruit Flavoured Indigestion Tablets, I had tried branded fruity indigestion remedies and decided to see if these were as good. Tesco Fruit Flavoured Indigestion Tablets cost £1.65, they are sold in a box of 48 tablets. The box is mainly red in colour and has the Tesco Logo across the top, the front of the pack informs the customer that these Fruit ...  Read the complete review

I have an aversion to paying ridiculous amounts of money for branded items when I know that there is a cheaper non branded equivalent, so I was delighted to find these Tesco Indigestion tablets. I suffer quite badly from heart burn. I think it is white bread that does it, but since I am so fond of white bread, I'd rather take the tablets and to be honest, with these Tesco ones, it's not really a chore. They come in packs of 48 and are priced at about £2 per pack which is about half the price of the branded equivalents. So first off they are a bargain, which is a bonus when you have to eat as many as I do. As with most tablets, they come in the little strips ...  Read the complete review

For as long as I can possibly remember I have suffered with infrequent bouts of heartburn where I experience the discomfort of burning in my chest, which is often accompanied by a similar sensation at the back of my throat. Whilst there are many other symptoms associated with heartburn, such as nausea and vomiting, I am fortunate enough not to suffer with these. During my twenties I tended to consume spicy foods, which would subsequently result in me experiencing heartburn. Consequently, I am now in a position where I have to carefully watch what I eat. However, I still suffer with the symptoms, which can occur every few weeks and unfortunately, it's just one of ...  Read the complete review

Whenever I am pregnant I get really dreadful heartburn in fact it is generally the first sign that I am pregnant, I don't like mint Rennies or Gaviscon and therefore I tried to find an alternative which I found in Rennie flavoured tablets and then I noticed these sat next to them on shelf and decided to try them instead. The tablets are obviously from Tesco and you get a box of 48 for £2 which is excellent value considering Rennies version is about double the price. The box is red in colour with bursts of colour coming from a picture of the four different tablets, the box holds the directions for use that these are for over 12s and adults ad you can take up ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Fruit Flavoured Indigestion Tablets: Fruit flavour remedy for indigestion? That's a novel idea (330 words)

I suffer from heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion and over the years this problem has become worse for me, especially if I am under pressure or suffering from stress. I buy and use the fruit flavoured indigestion chalky tablets from Tesco's and these are their own make. They are £1.50 for a box with 48 coloured flat round tablets inside. These must be chewed and they taste pleasant. They are not to be swallowed whole with water. Inside the box these tablets are in a blister pack and the instructions direct you to take either one or two. Usually my indigestion and heartburn is bad enough so that two tablets are often necessary. There have been ...  Read the complete review
