... did think they would maybe be far softer than they actually are. They also feel really rough when I wipe my nose and some of my grandchildren have complained they feel scratch their skin and make it a little sore. Their noses because red with just a simple wipe, so I decided not to allow them to wipe their noses with them again because I didn't want them to feel uncomfortable using them. There is nothing worse than a sore nose for anyone and especially young children. Their skin is far soften than adults skin and ...more

Tesco Value Facial Tissues: OK for the Money, but better is out there (750 words)

**A note on Tesco Value** As Tesco tries to make it's Value brand a bit less 'obvious' and a bit more accessible to all, it's renaming everything Tesco Value to Tesco Everyday Essentials. So these tissues are now sold as Tesco Everyday Essentials Facial Tissues. **Price and Availability** Tesco Everyday Essentials Facial Tissues are available in most Tesco stores (sometimes you can't get them in Tesco Metro type stores) and with your grocery order on Tesco.com. The Tesco Everyday Essentials Facial Tissues are currently priced at a very reasonable 36p. **Packaging** Tesco Everyday Essentials Facial Tissues ...  Read the complete review

Tissues are something I always like to keep in the house, not just for when anyone has a cold or hay fever, they are used everyday by me when I put my contact lenses in. I always dry around my eyes with a tissue every morning after popping my lenses in. I used to just grab some loo roll but tissues are much more economical. I also use them when I put my make up on and they are a good stand by if we run out of loo roll. I have recently given Tesco Everyday Value Tissues a try, at just 68p a box they certainly don't break the bank and were worth trying. Tesco Everyday Value Tissues are sold in a white rectangle shaped box which has little pictures of flowers, ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Value Facial Tissues: May as well wipe your nose with sandpaper (430 words)

This review is likely to be fairly concise, as there's not that much to say about these tissues and I'm not sure anyone is really interested in them but in true Dooyoo style I can't use ANYTHING these days without thinking "I wonder if that's on Dooyoo for me to review". We have these tissues floating around our office, it's one of those 'communal' items that we all help ourselves to, although I'm not sure if the person who brought them in knows that (lol!). The packaging is very non-descript, typical Tesco value with white box, red writing and the trademark Tesco blue stripes. The box is rectangular and as with most tissues opens from a perforated ...  Read the complete review

Not perfect, but for 36p I'm not complaining! (768 words)

Let's be brutally honest...tissues are not an interesting subject. I would take a stab in the dark that you are about as interested in reading about tissues as I am in writing about them...in other words not very. Since I'm being honest though, I'm at one of those times in my life where I have 101 things that need to be paid for and the fact that Dooyoo have gone mad and deemed these to be a Level 1 subject, is my one and only motivation for writing this review. There's enthusiasm for you. As Tesco, manufacturer of these tissues say themselves though, 'Every little helps'. I have been suffering with a cold on and off since before Christmas. Every time I ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Value Facial Tissues: Good price but it's missing the softness! (612 words)

I always have to have a box of tissues in the house for me and my fiancé. With both of us working in schools, you can guarantee that one of us would come down with a cold every so often from the sniffling children, and so having a box of tissues at hand is a must! We regularly get our shopping via Tesco, and have found that boxes of tissues can be quite expensive at times. Living on a budget means that sometimes we have to find cheaper options that do the job just as well as a more expensive brand would. Therefore, we decided to go for Tesco Value's tissue box. Priced at a mere 39p per box containing 150 2 ply tissues, this seemed very cheap for a box of ...  Read the complete review
