Cheap and great for everyday use (Tesco Value Facial Tissues)

Disadvantages: Rough - no good if you have a cold!

These tissues cost about 45p I think (though they might have gone up recently). Compared to the cost of Kleenex or even own brand supermarket tissues this is very cheap.

I initially thought these tissues would be very thin and not worth buying however i was pleasantly suprised and now usually buy value tissues no matter which supermarket i'm in - sainsburys basics, morrisons yellow label etc. The Tesco value ones were the first I bought and the ones i now buy most often.

For blowing your nose an average amount these are worth the money as most people just blow their nose once and throw the tissue away so no need to buy antyhing more expensive. I use these to wipe up the odd spill, blow my nose, and friends use them to wipe their kids faces. All fine and no reason to buy more expensive ones.

However they are most definately rougher than other more expensive tissues! So while they are strong they are also quite rough which you don't notice so much when you only use them a couple of times a day but if you have hayfever or a bad cold your nose will be crying out for some Kleenex Balsam or something to soothe it! I had a cold last week and couldn't get to the shops for a couple of days and by the end of those two days my nose was red raw and i was actually preferring to use toilet paper until I could get to the shops to buy better tissues as the toilet paper was kinder to my nose!
