**** Introduction ****

During the recent credit crunch I have been looking at trying to save a few pennies, so when I went to Tesco last week I started by replacing my branding buys and opting from some of the value range.

In my house we go through a box of tissues a week so these are always on my shopping list, This time instead of opting from Andex tissues I picked up a box of the Tesco value tissues to give them a try.

**** The tissues ****

These cost a fraction of the price at only 33p for a box of 150 tissues, so with them being over 80p cheaper I picked up a box and throw them into my trolley to try, because lets face it at 33p it didn't matter if they were no good.

After opening the box I was amazed to see that they not only looked the same, but they also felt as soft as my usual brand.

These tissues have two layers and have been excellent as they are very absorbant, which has worked for the runny noses and minor spillages that have occured so far.

My partner has just suffered from a really bad cold, that has had his nose running constantly. he is also impressed as these tissues have been good as he has been using them constantly and has not suffered with a bright red cracked nose, which usually occurs when you blow your nose all of the time.

The packaging is very basic with a recycled white box and the red and blue Tesco value logo, so the box does not look great but the product inside is brilliant.

**** My Views ****

I would buy these again without a doubt, they are just as good as any other brand I have used in the past and they cost a lot less.

These have certainly opened my eyes and I am now more than willing to try out other value brands, to see if I can cut out any more costs that I pay out on a weekly basis.

I would recommend these as they are just as good as any other brand.
