Great value but great quality too (Tesco Value Facial Tissues)

Advantages: Cheap cheap cheap!

Disadvantages: No pretty box

Trying to save some money and having very high tissue usage in our house - mainly for cleaning up a one year old I decided to try the Tesco value tissues.

The box is pretty bland being mainly plain white with a red stripe but that is really the only compromise. The box is well made and not at all flimsy like you might expect.

The tissues are large, strong and very soft. I have to say I really wouldn't be able to tell a "value" tissue from a "fancy" tissue if there was no packaging on show.

The real difference is a very large difference in price. The value tissues are a mere 25p for a box with the prettier boxed tissues all being at least £1 or more.

I have actually started using these tissues instead of more expensive kitchen towels as they are absorbant enough for the job but a fraction of the cost.

I'm converted - who needs a pretty box for something used for clearing up mess!
