Advantages: Cheap, good for runny noses and crying, softer than you would think

Disadvantages: Not very thick, not as absorbent as id like, there are better quality tissues out there

I like having boxes of tissues in my house as i dont like using toilet roll as a tissue, it can be harsh on my skin and tissues feel much softer.

Ive been suffering from Depression for a year and find myself bursting into tears a lot so like keeping a box of tissues in my living room. They are also good for cleaning up spills.

Ive been trying to save money like most people feeling the effects of the credit crunch so decided to buy these Value tissues from Tesco when i saw them instore.

They cost just 25p for a box of 150 X 2ply tissues. This is a complete bargain as some brand name tissue can cost a couple of pounds for a box.

The packaging on the tissues isnt very exciting but i didnt expect it to be on a value range. The tissues come in a white cardboard box and have "Tesco Value Tissues" across the front of the box.

Most own brand products are no frill these days so i suppose by not having fancy packaging, we are saving money in the long run.

When i opened the tissues, i took one out and noticed it felt a lot softer than my regular toilet roll. It did a good job when i started crying one day and is good on runny noses.

The tissues themselves are quite thin and not as good in quality as a lot of other brands of tissue.

I will continue to buy these tissues every week. They do their job ok but there are definitely better brands out there. For 25p though, i cant really complain much!

Summary: Give them a go

I buy these for make up etc and they are good for the money. Sorry you have depression also. I have been like you and bought some St Johns wart and they have worked. I am not meant to take them with my Breathing Meds, but they are more natural than what the Doctor would prescribe and they honestly have helped. Sorry for rambling on. Just thought Id help. Hope you are ok.
