Like blowing your nose with cardboard! (Tesco Value Facial Tissues)

Advantages: Very cheap and decent size.

Disadvantages: Everything else!

We cannot survive in our house without tissues, we have three young boys aged 5, 3 and 1 and it is unbelievable how many tissues they use. Not only do we have lots of colds and snotty noses in our house but everytime they cry its "I need a tissue" often before the tears have even come.

Therefore because I am always trying to save money on the weekly shopping I thought I would try Tesco Value Facial Tissues. Seen as I seem to go through a box of tissues a week and most of the time they don't really get used properly I thought this would be an opportunity to make a saving.

A box of Tesco Value Tissues costs 25p but that does seem to change quite often I have noticed when I've been in Tesco. For your money you get 150 2 ply tissues, so far so good.

After using the tissues I have come to the conclusion that they are rubbish. I did buy a couple of boxes but it wasn't until I got a cold and used the tissues for myself that I realised how bad they are. After a day or so of blowing my nose with the tissues they actually made my nose really sore.

The tissues are very thin and very rough. It's like using cardboard but at the same time they are really thin and rip so easily. There is nothing soft or pleasant about these tissues they are cheap, cheap, cheap.

The only thing positive I can say about these tissues is that they are a good size, but even that doesn't matter if they aren't a good tissue.

I am very disappointed with these tissues, definetely one of the worst products I have bought from Tesco Value. I have since changed brands and wouldn't buy these ever again, I don't even think they are good enough for wiping my boys tears away.

I am very surprised Tesco Value Tissues got an overall of 4 stars because I would only give them 2 and thats only because they are so cheap!
