==Tesco Everyday Value Tissues==
Tissues are a necessity of mine, considering at the moment that I actually have a cold (again!) & as they are a favourite of mine I do spend quite a lot on Tissues because of the fact that I don't want to look like Rudolph at this time of year. (But can you blame me with the bad Weather?) Kleenex, is my favourite, & whichever tissues that you use from their range they are always soft & thick enough to handle whatever gunge leaks from your nose! But, I could easily polish off a box of them in 2 weeks so I did need to cut back on stuff like this as it was just getting rediculous to be honest!
==How I got them==
Trying to not just go from super quality tissues to extremely crap tissues straight away I thought that Boots Balsam would be worth a try. Brilliant, nice & soft & extremely good value at 2 boxes for £2 but I also decided to try Morrisons M Savers Tissues, which have 150 2 ply tissues for the tidy sum of 45p! Guess What? They actually do as good a job a Kleenex Original (ableit a bit thinner & rougher) but hey if they save me like £1.60 a box then I shall stick with these! Still I just wanted to see if their was anything better than this for roughly the same price & discovered these Tesco Everyday Value Tissues in my local Tesco whilst shopping with my mum.
==About the product==
Well for the even tidier sum of 68p for 225 2 ply tissues these seemed even more of a bargain than the Morrisons ones, & were just to cheap to pass up. As far as design goes the box these tissues comes in has changed since the switch from Tesco Value to Tesco Everyday Value. They used to come in a boring white box with a red line going around it, but now these tissues are in an even taller box which has little cartoon pictures all to do with make-up! Now add injury to the result that they're pink!!! I mean come on Tesco, Tissues aren't just a Women's thing you know! I was so embarrased with having these by the side of my bed that I covered the box just to hide the girlyness! Anyways the price is only 68p but if you're a girl then these tissues are nice for _that_ sort of thing, but these wouldn't be my first call of choice.
==Performance==
When you pull off the opening you are greeted with 225 flat, folded & off-white looking pieces of thin cloth. What's nice about these is that when you pull out one tissues another follows & stands up through the opening of the box as its not something you expect from a Value kind. However the downside to this is that this method stops halfway down the box which never happens with Kleenex or even the Boots ones!
After you've taken the tissue out of the box this is where they immediately start to fall. You can see right through them & they feel rough when you rub them, again they are a lot rougher than the M Savers ones which is a shame. Dependent on what you want them for then they just don't work for anything at all. For wiping your nose or using them for light jobs, they're fine, but to sneeze into, blow into or to pick up spills then they're just useless! If you sneeze, blow, or mop up with them/ into them they just fall apart! Unlike Kleenex or even the M Savers ones you can blow into them several times before they fall apart but these are just one use only. I have used these on my face, (to apply cleansers etc.) & they are just to rough to use as they just break apart under the weight of the liquid & they dont spread cleaners, toners etc. very well at all.
==Summary==
If you want cheap tissues then I suggest you buy Morrisons M Savers ones at 45p for a pack of 225, because if you can get cheaper tissues then they're just crap, like these.
Summary: Crap Tissues
