Last week I was laid up with a terrible coldy flu illness. I ached and my nose was both blocked up and running at the same time, I didn't feel very well at all and spent a fortune on over the counter cold remedies and tissues. The day my cold struck the only tissues we'd got was boxes of Tesco Value tissues because they're dead cheap and my mum ... Read the complete review

We cannot survive in our house without tissues, we have three young boys aged 5, 3 and 1 and it is unbelievable how many tissues they use. Not only do we have lots of colds and snotty noses in our house but everytime they cry its "I need a tissue" often before the tears have even come. Therefore because I am always trying to ... I like having boxes of tissues in my house as i dont like using toilet roll as a tissue, it can be harsh on my skin and tissues feel much softer. Ive been suffering from Depression for a year and find myself bursting into tears a lot so like keeping a box of tissues in my living room. They are also good for cleaning up ... Probably the cheapest tissues around, you can pick these up from Tescos for 25p for a box of 150. Sounds like a great deal, doesn't it? 0.0016p for a single tissue? I, probably like many others, thought this was a great deal, considering an average non-supermarket brand box of tissues is usually about £1.25. Tissues are obviously ... Read the complete review

Tissues are one of those products that if you think about it, have just about the shortest useable shelf life possible. I mean from taking one out of the box to putting in the bin could be a matter of a few seconds. So with this in mind what do you really require from the bit in the middle? For me then, no surprise to hear that I want ... Read the complete review

My experiences with the tesco value range have always been a bit 'hit or miss', but after reading some of the positive reviews on this product, tesco value facial tissues, and with them only costing 25p per box, I thought I would give it a go. I actually didn't purchase them for myself, I bought them for my classroom at school, since some of my ... Read the complete review

I do like to always have a box of tissues to hand. I suffer with hay-fever and am prone to catching colds and of course like them for general use like a quick blot of my lipstick before leaving the house and things like that! The Packaging: It's a white and red oblong cardboard box with the same colour writing on it. On the ... Read the complete review

Tissues are one of the household products that plays a huge part in our daily life, although we don't really realise it. Ideally, there would be one box of tissues in every room of the house, because you never know when a sneeze might be coming up, it is also the fastest thing to just throw onto a spill because you don't always have a rag lying ... For budget reasons, I have started to do a monthly online shop from Tesco and have all the "essentials" delivered to me in one go. Every month my bulk shop includes things like value products (chopped tomatoes, kidney beans, toilet rolls, midget gems... all the good Tesco Value products avoiding things like the Value fish ... Trying to save some money and having very high tissue usage in our house - mainly for cleaning up a one year old I decided to try the Tesco value tissues. The box is pretty bland being mainly plain white with a red stripe but that is really the only compromise. The box is well made and not at all flimsy like you might ... Read the complete review

You hear the letterbox clang and you make a dash to see if the postie has left you anything remotely interesting. This mornings offering came in the form of a leaflet advising how to ward off swine flu, or how to deal with it should you be unfortunate enough to contract it and Natwest would be delighted to sell us yet another of their very ... These are part of the Tesco Value range, which I buy quite a lot of. I tend to balance price with quality very closely and while there are some products I wouldn't buy Value unless I was convinced they were really good, I don't feel the same about paper products which are disposeable and just get thrown away. I've been buying these tissues for a ... Read the complete review

Anybody who has read my earlier reviews will know that I am actively trying out some of the cheaper supermarket brands in a bid to save some pennies. With us recently having set a date for our wedding, our purse strings have got even tighter than they already were. So, when in our Tesco supermarket the other day, I decided to try these ... **** Introduction **** During the recent credit crunch I have been looking at trying to save a few pennies, so when I went to Tesco last week I started by replacing my branding buys and opting from some of the value range. Before last week, I don't think I had ever purchased a box of tissues in my entire life - i've always seen them as a particularly 'girlie' thing to buy. Besides, i've been quite happy in the past to take a tissue straight off a toilet roll - or better yet, i'll use a handkerchief. However, seeing a Tesco employee filling up the shelves with boxes ... These tissues cost about 45p I think (though they might have gone up recently). Compared to the cost of Kleenex or even own brand supermarket tissues this is very cheap. I initially thought these tissues would be very thin and not worth buying however i was pleasantly suprised and now usually buy value tissues no matter which ... Read the complete review

After reading a review on here I decided to push the boat out and try these tissues. Tesco Value Tissues are a real bargain! It isn't very often that I rave about a Tesco Value product but these are amazing. (I put them in the same category as Tesco Value tinned tomatoes...excellent). A box of 150 tissues costs 27p at the moment and this is one of the products that has actually gone down in the past few months. ... Read the complete review
