I use quite a lot of natural remedies and Tea tree is one of those products that every household should have in their medicine cupboard as it is just so versatile and useful. There are many different brands of creams and lotions that contain tea tree and whilst some of these can be good for the best results you really should be buying pure tea tree oil.

One of the best brands around in my opinion is Thursday plantation whose tea tree is 100% natural and of high quality.
The cost of a bottle is about £4.50 - £5.00 for a 10ml bottle on the high street but it pays to look around as my bottle only cost me £3.50 at my local chemist. As I said earlier Tea Tree is really versatile and can be used for all manner of things such as fungal infections such as athlete's foot, as a disinfectant for cuts and grazes, head lice, dandruff, sunburn and even insect bites.
Buying Thursday plantation tea tree is an ideal way of getting the maximum benefit of tea tree because as it is completely pure it allows you to adapt the oil to your specific aliment. If you are suffering from spots on the face then a good way to help clear them up is by adding a drop or two to your normal moisturiser and just using it as normal and this really will help clear your skin up.
I like to add some to my bath water when I am suffering from a cold and the steam does help sooth my nose and throat and make me feel a little better.

The thing I use my Thursday plantation tea tree oil most often for is a little unusual but highly effective. I add a drop to my toothpaste once a day to help disinfect my mouth. I suffer from gum disease and whilst corysol helps with clearing it up I don't like to use it all that often due to the staining and I find that tea tree helps with keeping it under control. One other benefit of using it this way is that I used to have some hard tartar on my bottom back teeth and the tea tree helped break it up.

I highly recommend Thursday plantations tea tree oil as it is a fantastic product and such good quality and being pure makes it really versatile. The little 10ml bottle will last for absolutely ages and it is so easy to store in your cupboard I really cannot think of a bad thing to say about it.
If you are suffering any sort of skin condition then definitely give it a try but there are so many other uses for tea tree and no matter the condition you are suffering from you should have a look and see if tea tree could help as it really is potent stuff.
