Tiger Balm is something I was made aware of when I was very little, living in Sydney we had the fabulous Chinatown district and my parents frequented it and often bought this wonderful product.

I say wonderful as it heals so many ailments. You can use it for muscle aches and spasms in your back, neck, thighs and arms. It is also useful as a headache remedy if you rub a tiny amount onto your temples. Nasal congestion? This can also be inhaled or used like a chest rub and the vapours ease your breathing overnight. As a child I began to think it was a treat when they needed to get the Tiger Balm out! It also soothed sleeping little ones, again a little dab like a vapour rub and it relaxes and soothes the mind.

I personally prefer the menthol (or clear version) instead of the red one - not so much that it has better healing properties however the smell is a bit more accommodation and it doesn't tend to stain like the red one may do.

Thoroughly recommend - in fact I LOVE - this product and no home medicine chest is complete without a little jar of this magic stuff in it. I never go away anywhere without this now - camping, weekends away or our overseas summer and sun holidays. I have used it as insect repellent as well and it seems to at least delay their attack.

It is quite easy to procure this - start with your local chemist - although I have also bought this in discount stores and it appears to be just as useful although it is usually the red that you see.

Reasonably priced, this is a fabulous healing tool and the fact it is natural ingredients and not tested on animals are additional reasons to buy it! It lasts a long time as you sometimes only need a dab for the healing heating properties to really get going. Love it!
