Don't even think about rubbing it onto a tiger (Tiger Balm)

Tiger Balm is a godsend in a pot. I always carry a pot with me and it is the first choice when I have a headache before resorting to any tablets.

Tiger balm is an ointment for external use only and I find it works best when a small portion is massaged into my forehead at the pulse points. Having said that I mainly use for headaches, I have been rating reviews for the last few hours and rubbed some into the back of my neck just now to cure the bent over keyboard pain.

I have seen it in Boots and other pharmacies for just under £5, but I get mine in the local pound shop where they sell a pack of two for a pound. I can with confidence say it is the same product- so shop around.

Now in writing this review, I had to consider if I would feel it was such a great product if I was paying ten times more for it. The answer is yes- but I probably would be more careful with usage.

It contains just over 18g and how long it lasts is obviously dependant on how many headaches you suffer from but as you need so little, it should be ages, all being well.

It contains:-

Menthol
Peppermint oil
Petroleum
Camphor
Clove Oil
Wax
Cassia Oil
Cajuput Oil

Not a tiger in sight- so suitable for vegans and veggies.

There is only one snag - and quite frankly if you are in pain you don't care- it has shall we say a distinct, though to my mind not an unpleasant aroma. But others will comment - you may be certain!!

I feel that trying a natural remedy before resorting to internal pharmaceutical products is always a good idea.
