I am one of those people who occasionally suffer from indigestion - probably because I eat far too quickly! I don't shovel my food into my mouth but I do eat more quickly than is good for me and I don't seem to be able to break the habit. So, as I said, I do occasionally suffer from indigestion or heartburn. The one product that I find relieves my symptoms every time is Tums antacid tablets. Tums are made by GlaxoSmithKline and a tub containing 75 tablets will currently set you back £3.16 at Boots. These tablets are also available at all good chemists and supermarkets so they may well be cheaper elsewhere. They are also available in little rolls so ... Read the complete review

The Tub The tub is semi transparent and made of plastic, the lid is white plastic and is a push open lid. On the front of the tub are the brand and product name, what the product is for and how many tablets are in a tub which is 75. On the back of the tube is one of those peeling stickers which have information on the inside as well as on the back. The information includes directions for use, contact information, expiry date, and check list before you take tums, possible side effects and ingredients. My Opinion I used these antacid tablets last time I was pregnant and now I am pregnant again I had to buy another tub. I suffer from really bad ... Read the complete review

These are antacids that are used for bloatedness, indigestion and heartburn. These are calcium carbonate tablets with added flavouring to make them taste nice. They are manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline (Beecham's, Ribena, Lucozade, Sensodyne, Aquafresh, to name but a few ). Their revenue for 2008 was a whopping £24.3 million - giving you an idea of what kind of company is behind these little gems. When the acid and alkaline ph is disturbed in the body, these tablets help you to get back to a state of normality (those of you who paid attention in science class should remember this ;-) The taste is really nice, with different fruit flavours such as ... Rating:
Tums are fruit flavoured antacid tablets made by Glaxo Smith Kline. They are for neutralising excess stomach acid and providing relief from indigestion, heartburn and trapped wind. They are suitable for adults and children over 12 years old. Tums are made out of calcium carbonate and are therefore chalky and can either be chewed or sucked. They are about the size of a 5p coin and about twice as thick. They come packs which contain four assorted flavours which are cherry, orange, lemon and blackcurrant and are coloured accordingly. I like all of the flavours but the order I have listed them in here are from most favourite to least favourite, in case anyone ... Read the complete review

I do not get indegestion very often, once every three months at most I would guess but my other half does suffer a bit more frequently and that is why I always have a supply of Tums in the medicine box as he reckons that they are the most effective and on the odd occasion I have used them I have certainly found them to provide some very welcome relief. You get 75 assorted fruit flavour tablets and they retail for £3.59 at Boots. The packaging is different to that shown in the Dooyoo picture. They actually come in a plastic container which you can see through and there is a plastic flip lid to access them. Given that they resemble small sweets and are coloured ... Read the complete review
