Advantages: They make my nose and throat feel a bit easier; Taste nice

Disadvantages: A bit strong on the menthol sometimes!3

I've got a mad cold that is absolutely doing my head in now, after a crappy couple of days I'm left with a bit of a sore throat and a snuffly nose and horrible as that is I do feel loads better than I did.

Now I'm taking plain paracetamol and also using a variety of Lockets and Tunes because they do make my symptoms better and these Cherry flavoured Tunes are delish as well.

They come in little boxes that remind me of a fag packet and that shows how long it's been since I've needed to buy anything for a cold because they used to come in a normal packet like Lockets. The Tunes aren't individually wrapped but that's ok because none of them have stuck together in the box.

You're better off to suck Tunes because you'll get the benefit of the menthol in them instead of crunching them because then you lose a lot of it as you'll swallow the sweet too quick.

They taste quite strong of menthol and there's no way I could eat them if my nose and tastebuds were normal, but when I'm bunged up I can cope with the strong taste! lol They do taste nicely of cherry sweets and to me they're like a hot Cherry Drop.

I think they work good. The menthol helps unblock my nose and I can tell because a few minutes after eating a Cherry Tune my nose goes from being mega blocked to runny!
