I've had a dry throat and tickly cough for coming up to a fortnight now and I'm starting to get a bit fed up with it to be honest. It isn't a full blown cold or even man-flu yet but it's annoying all the same, I've been taking regular slurps of cough medicine which dampen the cough down during the day but I am being disturbed by coughing on a ... I've got a mad cold that is absolutely doing my head in now, after a crappy couple of days I'm left with a bit of a sore throat and a snuffly nose and horrible as that is I do feel loads better than I did. Now I'm taking plain paracetamol and also using a variety of Lockets and Tunes because they do make my symptoms better and these ... Read the complete review

My cold has nearly come to an end but just to finish it off I decided to purchase some throat sweets to get rid of the final bit of my sore throat and clear up my nose. I decided upon a packet of Tunes which, and I always remember this from an advert, help you breathe more easily. This apparently is still the case as on my packet of ... Read the complete review

"A second-class return to Nottingham, please." Even all these years on, the words of the 1980s TV advert for Tunes remain with me. The new lozenges are oval shaped and come in a box I suspect that they are Tunes attempt at competing with Hall's Soothers. What ... Read the complete review

Tunes Cherry Sugar Free Throat Lozenges I decided to try and be fit and healthy at the start of the week and went for a swim. For about the first twenty minutes it was fine there was only four people in the pool and then we were joined by a loud group of school kids. Whenever I get a sore throat I tend to buy a pack of Cherry Menthol Tunes, to be quite honest I don't really like the taste as i'm not really keen on cherries but because these Tunes are quite sweet I can just about eat them and they do help ease my sore throat! I find that these are the best flavour and brand available. The pack is ... Read the complete review

Due to my recent cold I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to sample all the ranges of cough, throat and cold-related sweets on the market. Tunes is probably one of the first names that you think of when someone says 'throat sweets'. They have been around for a long time but I have only recently seen this new version. ...
