Advantages: Cures my sinuse problems quickly

Disadvantages: Tastes vile once in throat

Look through a girls handbag and you will probably find a make up bag, hair brush, phone and MP3 player as common place items.

If you take a look in my handbag you will find those items but will always find a packet of Ibuprofen and Vicks Sinex Spray as well, this is because I suffer from headaches caused by my sinuses and although they are mild and not worth bothering my doctor with if I didn't have these two little items in my bag I can spend a whole day agitated and grumpy due to the pain in my head.

Vicks Sinex Spray is supplied in a 20ml bottle and currently costs £2.63 at Boots and is available from most chemists and supermarkets.

I have had my bottle for over a year and it is used one or two times a week so its been well worth purchasing in my opinion.

To use the spray you shake the bottle and then inhale the spray through one nostril at a time tilting your head back slightly, and I mean slightly!

If you lean your head right back it all flows down your throat and the taste is vile, even when you spray it properly I always get a hint of the spray in my throat and thats my only negative on the product but if it tasted nice it would probably be more enticing to children and hey all medicines taste foul!

Once you have sprayed inhale deeply through your nose and then I take a big blow as well and I can instantly feel some relieve from my blocked sinuses.

You should only use the spray up to 3 times per day so don't get carried away and keep spraying if it doesn't work, it may not be the best product for you.

I only use once a day for the problem I have.

As mentioned I do have to take Ibuprofen to get rid of the headache if I have left it too late to take Vicks but if I catch it early I don't always need too.

I do tend to suffer more with my sinuses in the summer this may be due to pollen changes but I don't suffer with other hay fever symptoms.

I highly recommend this product, it gives you a feeling of relief as soon as taken and even though its such a small bottle only a tiny amount comes out when used so it will last a long time.

Summary: I cannot live without this little bottle!
