Advantages: Works

Disadvantages: Causes Irreversible Damage

I would like to warn people of the dangers of prolongued use of this product. I used to go through a bottle of it every time I had a cold and then when I became pregnant in 1993, I suffered from a rare hormonal symptom, which caused nasal congestion, therefore, I used the Sinex even more. As a direct result, I have now caused irreversible damage to the filters at the top of my nose. I know tha damage was caused by this as a friend told me about some TV programme, which came on at that time, warning people that this can happen. Unfortunatly, I didn't see it but it got to the stage where I had to stop using the product because it caused severe paing in my nose. Furthermore, I now have to use an anti-allergen spray containing steroids every day or I suffer hay fever symptoms.
I would like to sue the drug company but am not sure how to go about it or if I have a case since it will be difficult to prove. My GP doesn't take me seriously, just dishes out the Flixonase, believing that I'm allergic to dust or something, which I am not. If there was sufficient warning on the bottles, I would never have used it to to the extent that I did, since I am careful about my health. However, if there are a lot of other people out there who have ended up like this, then please come forward and we might have a case.
